Diverse Backgrounds. Common Bonds.
One Shared Vision. Collegiate Success.
The membership of Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) represents a wide variety of backgrounds and majors. About 50% of our members did not grow up on a farm. And not all of our members are headed back to the farm. Our members go on to become doctors, engineers, farmers, food scientists, conservationists and entrepreneurs, to name a few.
Despite the differences, all of our members have a strong bond and connection. We work together to navigate the challenges of college by having each other’s backs and supporting you on the way to your goals.
How We Operate.
Leadership Guided By Experience.
Our chapter home is located on the shores of Lake Mendota next to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, just a few minutes’ walk from the student union. We have single and double occupancy rooms, enough for 40 members. The chapter home is fully furnished including the living room, study, kitchen and dining room.
The executive team consists of nine undergraduate members and three alumni advisors. The team is lead by the Noble Ruler, and the eight Vice Noble Rulers support the chapter by leading committees for each of the chapter’s vital functions.
The advisors are faculty and alumni of AGR who provide guidance and advice to the chapter. The resident advisor is an alumnus who lives in the chapter home to provide day-to-day support.
